If you’re looking for a delightful stay with a fantastic location, consider the Cadillac Hotel & Beach Club. Treat yourself to a room with a pool and beach view – totally worth the extra cost! This charming hotel boasts both an adult pool and a regular pool, along with a cute bar, coffee shop, and restaurant on-site.
Getting There:
Traveling to Miami offers a couple of options. You can fly into Miami airport, but it usually involves a connecting flight. Once you arrive, it’s just a 25-minute Uber ride to the hotel. Alternatively, consider flying directly into Fort Lauderdale for convenience. The Uber ride from Fort Lauderdale to the hotel takes around 45 minutes, which, in our experience, was well worth it to avoid a connecting flight.
Top Dining Spots:
Here are some fantastic dining options you must try during your visit:
1. Crema Gourmet Espresso Bar: Start your mornings with a refreshing cup of coffee from this place.
2. Mila Lounge: Indulge in the sichuan cucumber salad as an appetizer and the crispy shrimp maki for your main course. But don’t miss out on their incredible tiramisu Martini – a true delight!
3. Prime 54: Located inside the Fontain Blue hotel, this restaurant offers a Leche Martini worth trying. Their scallops, roasted carrots, and mashed potatoes are also excellent. After dinner, head to the hotel’s shop and treat yourself to some gelato.
4. Versace Mansion (now Gianni’s): If you visit this place, be sure to order the Truffle Gnocchi, and don’t miss out on their caesar salad.
5. BÂOLI: While it might not have been our top choice, we tried this place after one of our reservations got canceled.

1. Paul’s Miami Boat Tours: Highly recommended! Join Paul and his wife Klare for a fun-filled boat tour. Snorkel, have a picnic in the middle of the ocean, and relax on a sandbar. Just a word of advice – go easy on the drinks the night before for maximum enjoyment.
2. Pool Day: For a relaxing day by the pool, arrive early to secure your seats and umbrella. The adult pool offers privacy, but the bigger pool is more refreshing. Don’t forget to try one of their poolside cocktails served in a coconut – perfect for Instagram! Oh, and the Thai Chicken Salad from the pool’s lunch menu is a personal favorite.
