How to get There

FLY – even if it is a close drive, i always suggest flying! We flew from Columbus to Nashville. Then we took an Uber to the hotel. It was only like a 12 minute Uber ride.

Where to Stay

JW Marriott – this hotel is beautiful, it has a cafe, a few restaurants + a rooftop bar. It is also only like a 10 minute walk from Broadway.

Be sure you go to the rooftop pool…. but get there early so that you get a good spot. We got chairs right by the pool and right by the tanning ledge. Also, ordering a coconut mojito is a MUST!

If you go to cafe inside the hotel, be sure you order the macaroons!

Where to Eat

* If you know you are going, I recommend making reservations to as many places as you can. They book up VERY quickly!

Hampton Social – this restaurant is very instagram-able! It has lots of cute places to take pictures.

They are known for their Frose, so definitely try one if you go.

Pinewood Social – This was one of my FAVORITE places we ate. The cheese curds are a must. Also, the club was very delicious, but the tots were PERFECT. Trust me!

I also ordered a shot of iced espresso (we went too hard before dinner) and the moscow mule. The mule was so refreshing and it is topped with a yummy ginger candy.

For dinner, I had the club sandwich + tater tots.

Party Fowl – Be sure to Uber here. I felt comfortable once we were there, but wouldn’t recommend walking.

I wasn’t super hungry so I just ordered appetizers off the weekend brunch menu. I got the Fried Cheese Grit Cakes and the strawberry jalapeño Apple Butter + Biscuit and Fried Cheese Grit Cakes

Etch This was a fancier restaurant, but was very good! We started with the charcuterie board and roasted cauliflower. Both were sooo good! If I was only picking one, I would pick the cauliflower again.

For my meal, I ordered the scallops and they did not disappoint.

Bourbon Steak – incredible views, skyline + sunset.

Atmosphere wise, this was my favorite place we ate. This is on the 34th floor of the JW Marriott. It has a bar that overlooks the whole city. The restaurant is nice inside, but I totally suggest getting up there right at 5pm and finding a seat at the bar.

Once the sun started setting, they opened it all up and it was amazing.

As for food, we thought lots of the salads and appetizers sounded amazing so we ordered those. We had the wedge salad, Caesar salad, truffle mac and cheese, brussel sprouts, street corn + potato puree.

Also, instead of starting with bread, they start you off with a fry trio and it is AMAZING!

Entertainment

Ride Bird Scooters around town for sure! You can explore so much and they are super fun! It does take some getting used to, but once you have the hang of it, they are so fun to ride.

Make sure you explore around the Gulch and also take a touristy picture in front of the angel wings.

As for bars, you can’t go wrong anywhere on Broadway! Some of the bars we stopped at were:

Rippys – Great live music, get there and get a table by the stage and window

Tootsie’s – get up to the rooftop early so you get a table and can overlook the strip

Nudies – This was one of our favorites, They had live music on the bottom floor, but then have two rooftop dance floors. If you want to dance the night away, go here for sure!
